About the Practice

A physiatrist (rehabilitation medicine physician) can have many roles. Dr. Furrey is board certified in physiatry (PM&R) and also received a further year of fellowship training in sports medicine and interventional spine procedures. Dr. Furrey practices in eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey providing platelet rich plasma injections to treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Furrey also works providing post-acute rehabilitation care as a consulting physiatrist in regional hospitals. His focus is on the patient, providing appropriate interventions which will create an easy transition back to the patient’s prior level of functioning.
